Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year I lost a friend after a long, brave and in the end traumatic battle with cancer. Her whole story from diagnoses to the bitter end can be read here, but be warned, have some tissues handy - http://thelittlestjojo.blogspot.com/
This year I'm upping the ante, rather than just taking on one event I'm committing to running a total of 500 miles over the space of the year. Some pro runner friends say this is easy but to put it in to context I only managed 115 during 2018. I'm already signed up to the Great South, but I'll be taking on others, as well as park runs etc. In addition, I'm once again doing the South Coast Mighty Hike (hopefully not on one of the hottest days of the year with no shade and no breeze this time!)
Of course, Jo is by no means the only one to suffer, I know others who have been affected but have beaten it, and I'm pretty sure all of you will equally have been touched by it in some way. Any money raised will not only help towards fighting this terrible and life destroying disease but also help charities like Macmillan in providing comfort and support to the victims.
