Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Rob and Piers have set themselves the gruelling challenge of  canoeing 60 miles through North West Scotland. Whilst there will be the bonus of some breath-taking scenery as they paddle from Fort William to Inverness over 5 Days, it will be no easy feat. They will be travelling entirely on their own steam and will be wild camping on the shores of various Lochs along the way.

The challenge will be completed in memory of Rob’s mother, Jenny, who sadly passed away in December 2018 from a heart attack. It was a very sudden and unexpected event, and he hopes that any money raised from this challenge will go some way to preventing a similar, truly life-shattering experience happening to someone else. Jenny was always very keen to hear about the various adventures that Rob has been on in his life, although she thought him “utterly bonkers” a lot of the time! She would be very proud of him & Piers for completing this challenge and
raising money for such a worthy cause.

Thank you very much for your support!
