Calgary Humane Society: Dog Jog, a walk or jog to end animal cruelty · 3 June 2023 ·

Calgary Humane Society's annual Dog Jog, a walk or jog to help end animal cruelty, helps raise crucial funding to support life-saving programs focused on education, protection, rehabilitation and ultimately, a new beginning for animals in need.

Story

Hello!

I have been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. As a kid, instead of asking for toys or gadgets for Christmas, I would ask family members for donations so I could give them to animal charities. My love for animals only grew as I got older, and I found myself constantly looking for ways to help. As a kid, I also tried to make a difference by donating and adopting endangered animals through the World Wildlife Fund.

In 2015, I raised money for the Cochrane Mutt Strutt, an organization that helps rescue and rehabilitate stray dogs. Last year, I then got the opportunity to raise money for this same exact event and ended up being able to donate $300.00.

I am asking for your help again . As you may know, animal cruelty is an awful issue that affects millions of animals every year. By donating to this cause, you can help provide support to the Calgary Humane Society to help end the suffering of these innocent souls.

Every dollar counts and together we can make a difference and help try to put an end to animal cruelty. Thank you for your generosity and support.
