Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Why we do what we do!

Professional sportspeople face unique  pressures and expectations. They are often viewed as being invincible,  indestructible and more than human, so  when things go wrong it can be difficult for players to know where to turn.

Dealing with public scrutiny, finance  and transitioning from the regimented lifestyle of an athlete is not something  they are experts in and often many are left needing specialised support.

RL Cares is here for them in lots of  ways, offering practical advice and signposting players in the direction of the  experts who have the skills, experience and know-how to help them and in many situations acting as the player's first  line of defence.

From medical and legal advice to  counselling and family support, RL Cares works tirelessly to offer  players access to a range of services, treating every case sensitively and in total confidence.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
