Story

"Being able to help so many people through Soccer Aid was one of the true highlights of my life.  I'm gutted that this time round my knee isn't up to it so unfortunately I'm out of the game. But I hope that everyone involved has the time of their life like I did, raises loads of money for Unicef and that the best side wins."  - Robbie Williams, July 2008

We're gutted that Robbie won't be playing in this year's Soccer Aid at Wembley on September 7th, but Geraldine decided that we fans should come together and show Robbie that although we'll miss his physical presence, we are determined to show our support for him and Soccer Aid which, after all, was his and Jonny's brainchild.

And so RWAP , RWO , TRWS and Fans Supreme joined forces, and Robbie Williams Fansites United was born, with the express purpose of supporting Robbie by raising as much money as we can for Unicef.

We hope you will join us in supporting this very worthy cause!

COMING SOON!

Courtesy of TTAP, we have three beautiful sets of Robbie prints by Hamish Brown and Sean Pollack which will be auctioned or raffled - watch this space!

WE DID IT!!

Well, YOU did it - on 29th August, we hit the £1000 mark. Wow!

There just aren't words enough to say how thankful we are for all of the support we have received, it's gone way beyond the original four sites.  On behalf of Geraldine, without whom none of this would have happened, and everybody else who has worked so hard to get us this far - THANK YOU!

It doesn't stop here though!  The appeal remains open until January, and we still have those pictures to auction.

But for now, we're cherishing this moment.  £1000 will mean so much to those kiddies - together, we have changed lives.  Wow :)

Ebay Photo Auction Up And Running!

We are pleased to announce that the eBay auction of the Hamish Brown photos is now up and running; it can be found here - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Robbie-Williams-Original-Promo-Photos_W0QQitemZ250290487916QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item250290487916&_trkparms=72%3A1090%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Please have a look, the photos are gorgeous! and remember to spread the word - strange as it may seem, there are Robbie fans out there who don't belong to fan forums, and this is a not to be missed opportunity!  The auction ends at 6pm on Monday, 8th September, which is the day after Soccer Aid.

NEW! RWFU Golden Goal Competition!

In addition to the eBay auction, we have one photo up for grabs in our Golden Goal competition.  This is just a bit of fun with the obvious aim of raising extra money for UNICEF, and the added bonus of possibly winning a rather lovely Hamish Brown pic of Robbie - check your 'home' site where you should be able to see what's up for grabs!  The rules are as follows.

What Is It?

You can back one of the players who has been named on the official line for £2 (members from outside Britain can check what this is in their currency
here - http://www.xe.com/ucc/
) -  if that player is the scorer of the first goal you win the picture!

How do we do it?

Entries and payments will be made on the
 RWFU JustGiving page -
simply choose the player you want, checking that no-one else has already chosen them and make a donation in the normal way ensuring you put your site username and site so that admin are able to contact you if you win in the display name column, so for example Chrissie would put "Angeleyes RWO". In the comment field put GOLDEN GOAL and the name of the player you have chosen.

The rules

1) Each player may only be chosen once, because there can only be one winner, the first person to "claim" the player on the JustGiving page gets them

2) If your chosen player does not play in the game on Sunday no refunds will be given or players changed - this is for charity and just a bit of fun!
