Story

So, I've decided to take up the 'TT Swim Challenge' 37.75 miles (2416 lengths) in our local swimming pool. https://www.facebook.com/TTSwim?fref=ts

And this is not just about a bit of personal fitness, but in memory of my father-in-law 'John Halliday' who was a keen sponsor of the charity 'Fields of Life', in particular 'Wells of Life'.

Through these charities John helped supply and organise equipment to address the vital need of supplying safe clean drinking water by means of drilling water wells within vulnerable areas of Uganda and Burundi, then in addition to building a Primary school, the legacy he has left for these communities in East Africa is now in the process of building a well needed Intermediate school.

Myself and wife Rebecca would like to take this opportunity to raise some additional funds to provide books and further educational equipment in time for the when this school is completed in September. Rebecca will be visiting the site on completion, with other members of her fathers family, to see the school and its children and to ensure that donations have been well placed.

So, if you can spare anything then it will be put to good use and will be fully appreciated.
