I first thought of raising money for the Haemophilia Society whilst on a walking holiday with friends. Two of my friends will be joining me on the coast-to-coast walk along Hadrian's Wall. We will be backpacking all the way (carrying all our own tent and cooking kit - about 12kg each) starting  in Bowness-on-Solway in Cumbria on the 2nd of September and finish the walk at Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, on the 7th of September. The walk will be a total of 84 miles. Backpacking will involve me camping - which will be the first time I have been camping!!
