I'm fundraising for Barretstown as part of the Oatlands TY programme!

My name is Robert Dempsey, and I am a Transition Year Student in Oatlands College, Co. Dublin. 

As part of our TY programme, I will be volunteering my time at Barretstown for four days. What is Barretstown? Barretstown offers free, specially designed camps and programmes for children and their families living with a serious illness – supported behind the scenes by 24 hour on site medical and nursing care.

Barretstown is supported by donations and the fundraising efforts of corporate supporters, individuals and community groups.

To attend, we must raise a sum of money that will go towards making a positive contribution to those who use their services. 

As a result, I will be fundraising for Barretstown with a 270km cycle it will be completed in the space of a month. On the cycle i will be doing a full cycle to Bishopsgate and back to Dublin.
