Hi and thanks for taking the time to read this and also a bigger thanks for supporting me...I have taken the plunge to enter the London Marathon for two reasons, firstly and foremost i aim to raise as much funds as i possibly can for the charity children with cancer uk  as this truly horrible disease has to be the worst possible thing that can happen to any of us.....as an adult this is bad enough but can you imagine it affecting children who really don't deserve such an horrific illness. So if i can do my little bit to help these children in their hour of need i will and no matter what I do it will shade into insignificance what others are suffering and going through.

Secondly having run the Edinburgh Marathon last year which wierdly I really enjoyed and also having watched it year on year on the TV whilst sat very comfortably on my sofa eating my breakfast in envy I decided that I have to do this and let someone else sit at home and look at me, which hopefully they will take a bit of inspiration for themselves which will benifit others.
