Anthony Lewis and Bedell Cycle Challenge in support of the Stroke Association and Driving for the Disabled · 19 September 2012 to 23 September 2012 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Anthony Lewis suffered a stroke 4 years ago which left him severely disabled. 2 years ago he completed a Marathon (it took him a week) and in September he will lead a team of 125 Jersey cyclists from London to Paris to raise funds for the Stroke Association

18 years ago my mum died a few months after suffering a severe stroke. Watching her suffer through this period is a memory that has stayed with me since and so aything that can be done to help improve the lives of stroke victims is really worthwhile supporting.
