Sage Reading Half Marathon 2021 · 7 November 2021 ·

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

I am running the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 7th November 2021 in memory of Abi Brown.

Abi was the most inspirational, kind and positive lady I had the pleasure of knowing. Her favourite phrase that I would love to continue is Positive Pants. Abi sadly past away last year after fighting a long battle with the different stages of cancer.

I decided to run in her name and to raise as much as possible for the Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice, who looked after Abi and gave her the best palliative care possible.

Please give as much as possible, no matter how small your donation is. Also please leave a message along with your name to help me through the training and most importantly Race day.

Thank you. Team Abi #positivepants

Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
