We support research at St Mark's Hospital to drive clinical improvements for patients

Story

Hi guy's thanks for visiting my page. As you are probably all aware by now i am running the London Royal Parks half marathon this year in aid of St. Marks Hospital. Many of you have probably never heard of St. Marks so i thought i could probably tell you a little about it. St. Marks is a hospital in Harrow, London that specializes in providing treatment and care for people with bowel conditions/diseases, they are also the only specialist hospital in the U.K providing a service for people who have one of the various forms of polyposis. In addition to this they are at the forefront of research and developing new treatments in their field. I have seen first-hand how committed and driven the staff are and in a time where our health service comes under (most often unwarranted) scrutiny this is both refreshing and re-assuring.

My son Eli is under the care of St. Mark's and whilst it is currently a venture in to the unknown with him, i feel so much happier knowing that he is always going to be provided with a service of the absolute highest quality throughout his time under them.

I do plan on running the full marathon eventually, but as some of you are aware i currently struggle to even run a bath properly so any form of running is a challenge for me, one i hope to find enjoyable and hopefully raise some money for a great cause on the way.

If your still reading amazing tbh well done for getting through it, i should probably donate money to you.

But i won't. Thank You for your time and hopefully your donations.
