I am running the 2023 London Marathon for this fantastic charity in memory of my beautiful mother in law, Jackie Goinden, who has sadly passed away having suffered the unrelenting symptoms of Alzheimer's for around 9 years and in honour of my auntie, Gillian Davies, who is currently in a care home also suffering.

My sister in law, Jo O'Neill and my brother in law, Jeff Turley, both lost their mum to this cruel, unforgiving disease and the mother of my good friend, Ian Fry is sadly in a care home for the same reason.

Hopefully, with continued funding from events such as this, treatment can be substantially improved. The overarching hope is that an actual cure can be found so that is what we have to strive for!
