Bedford Hospital Charity & Friends raise funds to support patients & staff at Bedford Hospital by providing equipment & improving facilities - all to ensure the continued excellence of the provision of care in Bedford. They are currently looking to raise £1m to fund a new dedicated Childrens unit and state-of-the-art Computerised (CT) scanner, both located within the existing A&E department at Bedford Hospital.The One Million Miles Challenge has been set up to raise money towards the £1m appeal, and my target is to walk, run, cycle, play hockey or swim 10,000 miles before the end of 2021. An impossible target but....
