We’re taking part in the Sunrise Walk to help make every moment count for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Shooting Star Chase provided the care and opportunities that mattered most to us with our daughter Lucia. A chance for us to be together as a family in the last weeks of her life, in an environment where fun and joy can still thrive under the circumstances, and we could be together as a family. Without Shooting Star we would’ve spent that time in a busy hospital ward, without Rémy and Lucia being able to be together with Mammy and Daddy when they both needed us most.

3 years later they still provide counselling and support to us, and have continued their amazing work in respite and end of life care for hundreds of families.

An amazing charity to help people through the hardest times they’ll endure, and one of many charities that have struggled to keep going throughout the pandemic.
