Story

In 2011 my beautiful mother Heather Pullan lost her battle with cancer. In her last two weeks she received excellent compassionate care from the nurses at Willow Wood Hospice.

If you or any friends or family ever have to face similar circumstances I cannot recommend highly enough the superior care these places offer.

They took loving care of my mum and all my family and I can never repay them enough. But I am trying!

In 2011 I started to run more to help with the grief and eventually I challenged myself to complete the London Marathon for my mum in 2012. I raised over 3000 pounds.

I’ve since gone to complete a few more marathons and this year I will attempt to become a six star finisher - that is to complete all six World Marathon Majors - something only 6,600 people in the world have completed!

2012 - London
2013 - New York
2014 - Berlin
2016 - Tokyo
2018 - Chicago
2020 - Boston ????

Please consider donating. I have set the ambitious target of 3000 pounds. This would take me to nearly 10k overall in my fundraising efforts.

Thank you for reading.
