Story
In April 2013 my dad was diagnosed with cancer, which inevitably struck me and my family hard. He soon started extensive chemotherapy and subsequently radiotherapy during the summer of 2013 at the Mulbarton Ward at the NNUH.
After completing his treatment and further assessments/tests unfortunately the treatment failed and has resulted in my dad being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
When I asked my dad where he would like me to donate my sponsorship too he immediately stated the Mulbarton Ward and Colney Centre, so all donations will be heading their way. So the ride does not only possess a physical challenge for me it holds so much more, it only goes a small way in saying thank you to the staff from my dad and I for all the hard work, commitment and care they put in. it truly meant a lot.
So all donations will be extremely appreciated, knowing it will be going towards a ward that unfortunately many families come to see.
