After many months of meticulous planning and training, the idea only came into our heads a few days ago, we have decided to walk up Ben Nevis. "The Ben is the tallest mountain in the British Isles at 1,344 metres above sea level or 4,409 ft in old money. Why you may ask and as we ponder on an answer as we zig zag our way up, we will be comforted in the knowledge that our chosen charity, Help the Hospices, will be benefiting from our pain.
