Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I have a lovely 3 year old nephew, Bodhi, who has Down Syndrome and whilst he is a very healthy little boy on the whole, he and his parents have also faced challenges in relation to his condition.  Bodhi appears to be 100% accepted within our community and our family, but sadly not all communities understand that Down Syndrome isn't an illness and there can be a stigma attached to this condition.

Bodhi has fantastic support here in UK from family, friends and NHS, but not all kids with Down Syndrome are so lucky. Therefore I am raising money for Down Syndrome international who help make a difference to  individuals with Down Syndrome who live in countries where they do not receive the same level of support and acceptance as those in the UK.  Bodhi is great fun, always has a smile on his face and has done nothing but enhance the lives of our family!
