In my spare time I am a Marine Medic for British Divers Marine Life Rescue. Myself and other volunteers provide a rescue service to help sick and injured seals and cetaceans across the UK coastline.

The beautiful Yorkshire Coastline I call home is home to grey and common seals, harbour porpoise, bottlenose dolphin, a variety of whale species and the recent visit of Thor the Walrus.

BDMLR Yorkshire are in need of extra support at the moment and the money I raise from running this half marathon will go towards the much needed equipment such as helmets, pontoons, trailer, lifejackets, training and fundraising equipment. So every little bit will help.
