Mum always carried herself with grace and dignity. She was loving & caring mother, wife and grandmother who devoted herself to her family. She was able to attend her only sons wedding and was able to see three grandchildren born, grow and was able to spend time with them.

In mum's late 50's the onset of dementia set in. Although for many years she was able to maintain an active lifestyle, this eventually became unsustainable. I would have given anything to rewind time, to have mum around and full of life, but unfortunately this is not an option.

I can picture mum free at last and only imagine the fun she's having. Hoping that someone will find a way to cure and reverse this tragic disease so others won't have to endure what mum had to.
