Story

On the 21st of June, I’ll be hopping onto my bike—affectionately known as "Fat Man on a Bike"—to take on the 54-mile challenge from London to Brighton.

This isn't just a cycle for me; it’s a celebration of a life-changing transformation. Since January 2024, I have completely overhauled my life. By the time I set off for Brighton this June 2026, I will have spent over two years fighting for my health, resulting in an incredible 7-stone weight loss.More importantly, I’ve taken my future back into my own hands. My blood pressure, which was once a serious concern, is now fully under control. Why I’m doing this for the British Heart FoundationHeart health is deeply personal to me. My family history has been heavily impacted by heart problems, affecting my Mum, Dad, and my Grandparents. Seeing the toll these conditions took on my family made me realise I had to change my own trajectory.I’m raising money for the British Heart Foundation because their research is the reason many of us get more time with our loved ones. By taking on this ride, I’m helping to fund the next big breakthrough in heart treatments and prevention.Follow the JourneyI’ve been documenting every step of my journey and my training on TikTok. You can see the highs, the lows, and "Fat Man on a Bike" in action here:👉 TikTok: @fatmanonabikeCrossing that finish line in Brighton will be the culmination of years of hard work. If you can spare even a few pounds to support the cause, I would be incredibly grateful.Thank you for being part of my story!
