Team: Remembering Ian Woodcock
In a phonecall back in January I learned my friend's dad had died over Christmas at St Teresa's Hospice in Darlington. On that day I signed myself up to Team Woodcock to try and raise as much money for St Teresa's Hospice as possible.
Injury prevented me from taking part in the Orpington 10k earlier this year so I'm off to Darlington to run as fast as I can and raise as much money as I can.
You say: I'm not going to give you any money because it is only 10k. I say: It's not the world's longest distance but there is a cheque presentation at the hospice on August 14 so if you can donate £10, £1 or even 10 pence it would make my big cheque look more impressive.
Thank you ever so!
