On Saturday 25 July 2020, Rob collapsed suddenly and unexpectedly of Ischaemic (Coronary) Heart Disease, having had no symptoms. Several ambulance crew, doctors, and the Air Ambulance attended to try and revive him, but despite their efforts, he sadly died.

In recognition of everything they did that night to save this amazing man, his family - Jo, Georgie and Josh would like donations to be made to the Great North Air Ambulance in his name.
