We want every child in the UK with a neurodisability like cerebral palsy - and their families - to have access to learning and life changing therapy, aligned with our Pace approach. Our specialist clinical, education and therapy teams work with babies, children & young people from 0-18.

Story

Last year I sponsored my friend, Treve, to complete a London to Paris bike ride raising funds for a specialist centre and school for disabled children, the Pace Centre (see panel and www.pacecentre.org for the great work they do).

This year I actually joined Treve and 13 other riders to ride 350 miles from Aylesbury to Dublin over 4 days between the 18th and 21st of June in an effort to raise more money.

After 3 days of headwinds and a 100 mile final day in the pouring rain from Rosslaire to Dublin (the most challenging day's riding in my life) I'm happy (and relieved) to confirm we finally completed the ride.

Support and sponsorship from family, friends, colleagues and clients has been unbelievable. All I can say is a sincere 'thankyou' on behalf of myself, the organisers, the staff, parents and most of all the children who will benefit from your generosity.

Support and accomodation costs were covered by the participants and volunteers, so all donations will go in full to Pace. If you haven't donated and would like to it's not too late - this page will stay open until September. Donating through this site is simple, fast, efficient and secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax relief will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Alternatively you may sponsor by cash or cheque payable to the Pace Centre and sent to my office.

Many thanks again, Rob
