Robert's Half Marathon fundraiser for Teenage Cancer Trust

Robert Sitch is raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

On Sunday 12th April, I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon alongside my eldest daughter, Tess.

We are running to honor Charlie, my nephew and Tess' cousin, and raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Charlie passed away on 11th September 2025 after almost a year-long intense and courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. He was just 19 years old. We will always remember Charlie for his positive, resilient, adventurous and caring nature. He will remain forever in the hearts of all his family and friends.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity providing specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. This incredible charity doesn’t just treat the illness of a young person affected by cancer, they support their families too. Their ongoing programmes and specialists help make an unbearable situation more bearable. Their kindness, knowledge and care showed towards Charlie and our whole family carried us through some of our darkest days.

Thank you in advance for your support and donation which will help raise funds for this wonderful charity.

Thank you

Robert
