Let’s cut to the chase.......

More than 1 in 4 cancers that affect men are prostate cancer.  

Men don’t see the doctor so 40% are late diagnosed.

Over 47,000 men are diagnosed with prostate each year.

Over 11,000 men will die of prostate cancer this year.

Prostate cancer will account for 7% of all deaths this year!

I had a prostate scare 2 years ago which thankfully was resolved with medical intervention.  But I was forced to stop cycling for 18 months.  I’ve now got a saddle that won’t cause me problems and so I felt like it was time to really make a difference and raise this area’s profile (so to speak).

The prostate is the size of a walnut so let’s raise some money and ‘crack this nut’.

I am cycling 100 miles in a day with Lyndsey, Richard and Andrea (that’s 400 as a team!).  You don’t need to share our pain but you could give us a huge psychological boost and provide Prostate Cancer UK with an investment that will change prospects for thousands of men in the future.
