Discover Children’s Story Centre is the UK’s first hands-on creative literature space for children aged 0-11 years and their families dedicated to generating a love of language, literature and stories. Based in Stratford, east London, it is designed to stimulate curiosity and imagination.

Story

On 7th November, Mike Clear and I are running the New York Marathon to raise money for Discover, a wonderful charity in east London that provides a safe haven for children to play, learn and use their imagination.

Specifically, the money we raise will go towards Discover's 'Running for Access' campaign, which is providing free access to Discover for disadvantaged children in Newham. For more information, see www.discover.org.uk

As Mike and I are covering our travel and accommodation costs, pretty much everything you donate will directly benefit someone who deserves a bit of good luck.

I'm sure I will need a bit of that myself during the last hour of pounding the streets on NYC.
