Story
Hi guys,
So I'm doing this hitch-hiking buisness all over again. This time I am competing in a 6 day race from the Parkinson steps at the University of Leeds to Prague in the Czech Republic, with fellow students Liam Kempthorne and Paddy Jones.
We are supporting the efforts of Women for Women International, a charity formed in 1993 to support women in post-war countries and to help them become self-sufficient and rebuild their lives. Without the $108 million dollars of direct aid the organisation has provided, 351,000 women from Kosovo to the Congo would be without the knowledge and resources they need to survive.
So I know I am talking to a cohort of cash-strapped students, but please if you have got this far down the page, don't just stop here. £100 or £1 it makes no difference, for these women it is life changing. If you can afford to then give what you can and thank you for your support!!!
Cheers,
Robin
