Now you're here, take a good look at us opposite and ask yourself. 'Do these guys really look like they can cycle 190 miles from London to Paris in 4 days?'

Well, to tell you the truth, we're not sure either.  But we thought we'd have a crack at it and find out.  We're not part of an organised group, we're pedalling solo with Mike's uncle Dave in the support car.

Here we are then, commited to heading off on Tuesday the 29th June from Trafalgar Square in central London with all the gear and some idea hoping to reach the Eiffel Tower on Saturday.   We'll take bets on who'll be the first to stick out their thumb for a lift.  The work undertaken by Open Sight speaks for itself (www.opensight.org.uk) so go on give us (and it) your support if you can...... and send us an inspirational message to help get us to the end of what may prove be a 'good idea at the time' too far!
