Event: Blenheim Palace Triathlon 2021, from 11 September 2021 to 12 September 2021
A team of Lexi cinema fundraisers, mostly worried about getting fit in time, have boldly agreed to open-water swim, cycle and run at Blenheim Palace to raise £££s to support our local refugee communities via the brilliant Lexi Community Hub.

Story

My partner and I moved to Kensal Rise in late 2019 and instantly loved the Lexi, which is unique  but also a centre to the community. It is the UK's only social enterprise cinema and does fantastic work not just as an indie-cinema donating its profits to charity but it also supports vulnerable people in our Queens Park & Kensal Rise community.

However over the last 18 months its obviously not been business as normal and I wanted to take the opportunity to pay back some of the enjoyment we've had at the Lexi! I'll be doing the sprint triathlon at Blenheim Palace (750m swim, 20km ride, 5k run) as a member of the might Kensal Rise Triathlon team.

The Lexi is supporting the charity Salusbury World which is helping those who have had to flee horrific situations to thrive in our local community. Your kind sponsorship will help fund the community partners programme which benefits refugee communities via our local refugee charity, Salusbury World.
