EAAA's Trek 24 - Bedfordshire 2023 · 29 April 2023 ·

Welcome to EAAA's BedfordshireTrek 24 page. This team will be taking on 24 miles or 24 kilometres on Saturday 29 April 2023. When you support our trekkers with a donation, you'll be helping to keep our helicopters flying!

Story

On Saturday 29th April 2023 we will be setting off from Barton Hill Farm, LU2 8NF and walking through Hexton, Barton Le Clay, Sharpenhoe, Pulloxhill and Pegsdon to complete 24 miles.

All to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, a fantastic charity and one we have supported for many years.

24 miles is no mean feat! But our team are prepared and are thrilled to be raising money for such a deserving cause.

Set up in 2000, they are responsible for saving many lives and are able to get to places that an ambulance could not. We are aware of many clients who they have helped. They also receive no regular government funding so it is through the support of the community and charity events like these that allows them to continue operating.

The crews are tasked an average of 8 times a day across the two bases, with each mission costing in the region of £3,750. They can reach anywhere in the region within 25 minutes when every second can make the difference to a patient in their time of need.

We hope you can support us with this challenge.

Thank you,

Robinson & Hall
