We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking time to visit my JustGiving Page.

I am raising money for Cancer Research UK in honour of Dr Rob Lade and all those others touched by Cancer.

1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our life time.  Please support Cancer Research UK to help beat cancer.

This is Rob’s chosen charity; a man who has been my friend, colleague and boss.  Rob’s enthusiasm, confidence, positivity and warmth is infectious with everyone he meets;  personally and professionally.    Rob has instilled in us all the importance of setting and smashing goals, with leading from the front at IEP Technologies.

I feel the 24 hour event is a challenge worthy of Rob’s name.

The goal is to carry the latest IEP eSUPPPRESSOR along the infamous Fan Dance Route situated high in the Brecon Beacons, Wales.  The route is famed for its use by British Special Forces on seclection!   The route is a real physical and mental challenge and I intend to do as many circuits as possible within a 24 hour period.

I am doing this challenge for anyone who has themselves or knows anyone who has battled against cancer.  I am doing this challenge for Rob.

Please show your support by donating anything you can to this worthy course.

Thank you.  Andrew.

1 circuit of the Fan Dance Route = 24km

eSUPPRESSOR weight = 40kg.

Total time of event = 24hours

Expected circuits in 24hours = 4.
