Well it's all done! 181miles and a bit of a slide down the road on my side! But a hard day well done!! Thanks to all that have contributed so far!! Xxx

As some of you may remember last September I competed in the cyclothon event at Brands Hatch. This was a gruelling 12 hour event around the 2.3 mile circuit. Once again I shall be competing in this event and hope this year to beat the 156miles I achieved in 2011.

This year I am trying to raise money for Pilgrims Hospices. They are based in East Kent and they care for people with life-limiting illnesses. Pilgrim Hospices cared wonderfully for my Grandad in the final few weeks of his life. He unfortunately passed away in February after struggling with dementia and losing a battle to cancer. The excellent help Pilgrims Hospices provided my Grandad has made me choose this charity to raise money for.
