Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

I took up road cycling last year and took part in the London to Brighton, raising money for the British Heart Foundation.

This year I wanted a bigger challenge and entered the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 riding for Sue Ryder.

Susan Preston, my mother-in-law, volunteers at a Sue Ryder neurological care centre in Preston and so I hear second hand about the fantastic work they do. It's a great cause and I'm hoping to raise £500 or more. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated and go towards a great cause.

For me this is a huge challenge having never ridden further than 50 miles and I've been training hard, cycling to work. I'll be going it alone on the day and hoping to do it in under 7.5 hours. Please support my effort if you can.

Thanks,

Robert
