Raising funds for the urgent repairs needed to the lifeboat station, so it can keep our lifesaving boats and kit in good condition through the coming winter and many years to come.

Story

NOW RESCHEDULED TO DEC 21st!!! After several postponements due to the various evolving local and national restrictions, initially affecting the original planned route over the Severn bridge, then through Gloucs, now through S Gloucs, as well as navigating schools bubble closures and other challenges, I have now rescheduled for mid Dec, with a route within the tier 2 areas in Bristol and NE Somerset. Looking forward to getting on with the run!!!

The Sharpness volunteer lifeboat crew are called out around 20-30 times per year, both to people and vessels in distress in the River Severn and to support the Police with other water searches across Gloucestershire. I am fundraising for essential repairs to their building, to keep their lifesaving boats and kit in good condition and ready to respond!
