On Wed, May 17, I will join my fellow Amgen Club teammates riding in stage 4 of the Amgen Tour of California.  We are riding for Break Away from Cancer and Break Away from Heart Disease.

I'm riding this course in memory of my mother, who struggled with numerous complications for over 7 years after an aneurysm, including cancer.   I love you mom and miss you dearly.  I will also ride for my dear friend Beth, a wife and mother of 3, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.  My mom, and Beth, had/has amazing strength and an unfailing positive attitude.  I can only hope to have an ounce of their strength and determination while I ride this course in their honor.

I’m attempting to raise funds for the Amgen Break Away from Cancer charity.  100% of what is donated will go to directly to charity.  Please help me support this worthy cause for all those who are impacted by our mission.
