At Keswick Care, the wellbeing of the young people we support is at the heart of everything we do. Many of the young people in our care face challenges that can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why organisations like Papyrus Prevention of Young Suicide mean so much to us. Papyrus provides a vital lifeline for young people who may be struggling, offering support, understanding, and someone to listen when they need it most.

Here at Keswick Care, we make sure the young people we support know about Papyrus and feel confident reaching out to their helpline whenever they need someone to talk to. Knowing that this support exists can make an incredible difference.

To help raise funds for this amazing charity, Tracy, our Team Leader at Keswick Road, is doing something very special. She has kindly offered to have her head shaved — and the person doing the honours will be one of the young people we support, who is an aspiring barber. This gives them a chance to showcase their skills while being part of something meaningful that helps other young people.

This event is about more than just shaving hair. It’s about raising awareness, supporting a cause close to our hearts, and showing our young people that they can use their talents to make a positive difference.

Every donation, big or small, will help Papyrus continue their life-saving work supporting young people who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide. Together, we can help ensure that no young person has to face those feelings alone.
