I’m Robyn and I’m re writing 31.

On June 26th 2023, I thought my life was done. This was the day I was diagnosed with primary Breast Cancer. Following a year of weekly chemo treatments, amazing doctors, not fun side effects, endless supplies of biscuits, weekly ice baths on my head and a 8+ hour mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, I’m now here on the other side to rewrite my year of being 31 for the better. My goal, is to raise £31,000 to donate to both The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, aswell as the amazing Breast Cancer charities such as Coppa Feel to raise both money and most importantly awareness for young women to check their breasts.

As part of this challenge, this Autumn, I will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon and running on behalf of the Royal Marsden. Not only has the Royal Marsden been my home for the last 12 months, full of amazing doctors and nurses who continue to provide the best possible treatment for cancer patients. They also support life-saving research - including clinical trials and the development of new drugs that will transform the lives of cancer patients, both at The Royal Marsden, but more importantly across the UK and around the world.
