This September as part of Blood Cancer awareness month I am
taking part of Walking Together, an event run by the Anthony Nolan charity alongside other members of the Durham Marrow exec- with an end goal of collectively walking/running 1000km to raise money for Anthony Nolan this month!

Anthony Nolan helps to find lifesaving stem cell donors for those diagnosed with blood cancer, and us at the Durham branch of Marrow run swabbing events to help recruit potential donors onto the stem cell register however it costs £40 to add each donor onto the register.

This is a challenge for me as a new runner, a lazy student, and a resident of the somewhat temperamental climate of the North, so any support and donations are greatly appreciated!
