Story
I work as a biokineticist (a clinical exercise specialist) in the healthcare industry focusing on the importance of movement and mobility with my patients. Many of these rely on assistive aids to give them the best quality of life. When I first moved over to the UK I worked as a carer for two young children who needed wheelchair support. These experiences have given me insight into the importance of having these aids for people to function daily, participate in activities of necessity and recreation without limitation, and, most importantly, for inclusion. This is why I chose to support the Whizz-Kidz charity as part of my London Marathon adventure!
