We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On March 4th 2003 my sister Angela was born with down syndrome and Esophageal atresia. She was taken to Yorkhill Hospital where she received the greatest treatment possible. She spent the first 9 months of her life there and even after being discharged would require annual visits to the hospital. The staff always remembered her and would welcome her and my family with a smile and kind words.

Throughout her time at Yorkhill Angela and my family were provided with the utmost care and attention imaginable during what was a very testing time. Luckily for us Angela was able to make an incredible recovery and enjoys life like most other 16 year olds.

Glasgow Children's Hospital (formerly Yorkhill) fundraise to ensure that every baby, child and young person treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital receives the extra special care they deserve. Please can you donate whatever you can to help continue the good work of the charity and ensure all kids receive the same care that Angela did.
