The Rock UK Bursary Fund means that no child misses out because their family can't afford a trip. Due to the generosity of supporters, hundreds of disadvantaged children have had the chance of enjoying adventurous outdoor fun with their friends.

Story

On Saturday 15th October, three intrepid (and slightly unfit) instructors will be undertaking Rock UK’s infamous “South Wales Adventure Challenge”.

James, Hannah and Chris are endeavouring to complete all of Summit Centre’s off-site activities in one non-stop, gruelling and entirely human-powered expedition- all in just 48 hours!

The Challenge: Gorge Walking on the Mellte, Caving in Porth yr Ogof, Hiking over the Pen y Fan range, Paddling across Ponsticill Reservoir and Mountain Biking back to Rock UK Summit Centre. No transport between challenges. No more than 48 hours. No holding back!

Rock UK was originally established in Littlehampton, Sussex when a group of inspirational Sunday School teachers identified a need for a place to take children from London on holiday to the seaside. One hundred years later, the charity continues to provide outdoor experiences for the young and young at heart regardless of their background.
