Story

4 Sisters will hit 4 different age categories this June and wanted to celebrate by doing something unique in their home town of Worthing whilst raising as much money as they can for 4 local charities.

They are going to attempt to run a relay style event. The sisters, who have different running abilities will complete 10 x 5km throughout the day and cover 50km (or 30 miles each) and a total of 200km between them. The event will take place at Beach House Grounds (nr Splashpoint) on Worthing Seafront on 26th June 2022 from 9am and the sisters are allowing 11 hrs to complete their target.

To Rock up 'n Run, please come and visit the crew on the day, and join the next sister for their up and coming interval. Please give generously (there are no entry fees, as this isn't a race). Runners donating £5 or more will receive a thank you medal. If you don't want to run but still wish to donate, the nominated charities will be absolutely delighted.

The 40 intervals will be on the promenade in Worthing, going east towards Lancing and west towards Goring from the Beach House Grounds base for 2.5km out and return. Friends, family and colleagues will be with the sisters during the day and they would be delighted for any extra moral support.

Town Crier, Bob Smytherman has kindly donated his time to get the event underway in the morning. Thanks as always Bob!

The nominated charities are St Barnabas House, West Sussex Mind, The Dogs Trust, The Firefighters Charity and the sisters are raising as much as they can.

Thank you so much for your generous donations for what will be a challenging event for each one of them!
