Snowdon at Night · 7 August 2021

Our team will be climbing Mount Snowdon (1,805m) at night to watch the sunrise over Snowdonia National Park. Trekking Mount Snowdon during the daytime forms a great challenge, but by using only torches to light your way is another level!

Story

We are joining the St Raphael's Team to scale new heights in fundraising for those needing palliative care. We will be departing at midnight up the Llanberis path to see the sun rise over Snowdonia and would love to bring you back some pictures.

St Raphael's care for people in Merton and Sutton living with a life-limiting illness and their families. Over 1,000 patients and those close to them benefit from the exceptional hospice care every year. They offer home-based and in-patient care, wellbeing services and bereavement support and are at the heart of the community, whenever and wherever people need them.

They only receive 24% of their funding from the NHS and the rest (over £4million) needs to be fundraised every year to deliver the vital services.

The Hospice has recently become independent of its founding charity  and now needs to find independent funding more than ever.

We would be grateful for any sponsorship and thank you to those who have already pledged their support.
