Story
Thank you for visiting my Half Marathons for Astro Brain Tumour Fund web page. After 2 last year, I have run another 2 races in 2014. I ran Reading on 2 March and City of Norwich on 23 November.
Astro Brain Tumour Fund is a charity which combats a type of brain tumours known as Low Grade Gliomas. All donations, large or small, will be very welcome, helping to provide support and brain tumour research. As ever, my fund-raising is inspired by my niece Gemma who fought her tumour so bravely until she died at only 29 years of age in November 2010. She was truly remarkable and remains a great inspiration.
Gemma's example has helped me cover over 1,000 miles in training and races in recent years including the London Marathon 2011 and now 15 Half Marathons.
