I am a proud FryeWCA Friend because I appreciate how this remarkable organization provides support and care to women, children, and families through shelter, mentorship, and case management-supportive services. Over the past 119 years, the YWCA in Greensboro has grown to serve those in greatest need, like teen mothers in need of support and those experiencing homelessness. In 2020 and 2021, the YWCA gave families a safe place to rest, warm food to nourish, and the resources to start over with care and support. We made a difference in their lives, and you can too!

The YWCA Greensboro's "Preserve the Legacy" campaign is about continuing the organization's good work and honoring a long history of empowering people and showing compassion modeled by its namesake, Mrs. Shirley T.
