Thanks for getting this far ... About 5 years ago someone close to me and mine, the same age as me, started losing it, in her fifties.  Sure enough, early onset Alzheimer's.  Now 63 and physically hale and hearty, she's not there. Only another 20 or 30 years of downhill to go.

I don't think details are needed, we all know, even if only in theory, the various ways it goes.  Late Alzheimer's, increasingly common as life stretches on, is terrible.  But at least it's late?  In your fifties, that's not right.

I don't believe I have ever asked for money for charity ever, so please help with the research and other ARUK activities.

I'm cycling London to Brighton this Sunday June 19th, just under 60 miles but around 1,000 metres of climbing which is a bit.

Having only taken up cycling less than 18 months ago in a moment of Covid claustrophobia, it is a real challenge.
