After 8 days of blood, sweat and nearly tears, we all made it from Lands End to John O'Groats, a total of 924 miles and c 60 hours in the saddle. It was a huge challenge, thankfully we all made it safey although I don't think my knees will be the same again. We had 4 days of terrible weather but that's the UK for you, what did we really expect. From the beautiful Cornwall weather and scenery to climbing through Shap in a gale force wind soaked to the skin, from Loch Lomond to Loch Ness, we finally arrived in John O'Groats on Sunday 14th August at about 5pm, to find the cafe shut!!! Welcome back to Scotland!
