Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Rod Ashman was man with a big heart. He gave time to so many over his 83 years. Rod sadly passed away peacefully on 22nd December 2020 at Wythenshawe hospital after a short illness.

After a heart attack in 2011 Rod had surgery, at Wythenshawe Hospital, to repair the damage. He also had a pacemaker and defibrillator fixed which, I have no doubt, extended his life considerably.  He was always grateful of both the treatment available to him at that time, and the way in which it was provided.

In order to assist the charity to continue it's amazing work in research and development, and assist in prolonging the lives of so many, we, Rod`s family ask that you consider a small donation to this worthy charity in his memory.
